About The Program

Throughout the Madison area and the State we are in great need of referees. Since we greatly appreciate the work you have done and will do as a referee, there is an incentive offered by the Madison Area Youth Soccer Association: 

Recertifying Referees qualify for a $65 bonus after successfully completing their re-cert class and having worked a minimum of 10 league games in the Madison area in the immediate prior calendar year. Sorry, Tournament games do not count. 

New Referees : This bonus is being discontinued by MAYSA. 

 WisRef has partnered with the WYSA to offer a $40.00 reimbursement for those who successfully complete the 2026 requirements to be registered as a NEW Referee.

Everyone that works an additional 5 MAYSA league games qualifies for a $35 bonus. These 5 games must be in addition to your 10 games if recertifying or 5 games if you were a new ref in 2025.
